Spc. Rachael Mullen, a member of Heidelberg's Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program, helps Amelie Kreuer and Luisa Rohde, students at the Englisches Institut, a bilingual German elementary school in Heidelberg, make turkey hats during a Thanksgiving community relations event at the school Nov. 26. Members of the BOSS program and the U.S. Army Garrison Baden-Württemberg Public Affairs office spent a few hours with 19 fourth graders to give the students an opportunity to practice their English skills and learn more about American culture.
