National Guard Maj. W.D. Foster, in a wheelchair, and Spc. Thomas Morgan are both nearing the end of their treatment with the Warrior Transition Unit at Fox Army Health Center. Foster, who suffered a spinal cord stroke while taking a physical training test with his Guard unit, is paralyzed from the waist down. He has received full care at the WTU that has equipped him with the ability to care for himself once he receives a medical discharge. Morgan, who was injured in a vehicle accident while serving in Germany, has nearly completed his medical treatments through the WTU.
