Pfc. David Juarez, an animal care specialist with the 129th Medical Detachment (Veterinary Medicine,) 1st Lt. Park, Sung-gu, a veterinarian with the 1st ROK Military Working Dog Center, and Maj. Michelle Franklin, commander of the 129th Medical Detachment, help load a patient onto a truck waiting to transport the working dog back to its quarters for recovery during a recent deployment to the First Republic of Korea Army Military Working Dog Center, Chuncheon, South Korea. The 129th Medical Detachment (Veterinary Medicine,) U.S. Army Yongsan Garrison, South Korea, is a self-contained and deployable veterinary animal treatment facility. It is one of only three mobile veterinary clinics in the U.S. Army regularly conducting field exercises.
