Milley takes FORSCOM colors, Allyn departs Fort Bragg to become Army vice chief

Gen. Mark A. Milley passes the colors of U.S. Army Forces Command to Command Sgt. Maj. Scott C. Schroeder, the FORSCOM senior enlisted adviser. Gen. Daniel B. Allyn (center) had just relinquished command of FORSCOM to Milley in a ceremony at Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 15, 2014, officiated by Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno. Milley becomes the 21st commanding general of FORSCOM. Schroeder is ultimately responsible for the care and maintenance of the command's colors.
