Before the pre-game ceremonies even began, the United States Army Blues Band "Swamp Romp" performed on the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk. In recognition of the Army's 239th birthday, the Washington Nationals baseball team hosted an Army recognition day at National's Park, Washington, D.C., June 18, 2014, to honor America's Soldiers.
