Tripler staff honors lives lost during holocaust with a ballon release

Tripler Army Medical Center staff release hundreds of balloons as a symbol of remembrance during a ceremony on May 1, 2014. Each color represented a concentration camp marking to include yellow for Jews, purple for bible students, green for professional criminals, white for Rwandans, brown for Romans, pink for homosexuals and sexual offenders, black for mental and physical disabilities, blue for foreign forced laborers and emigrants, dark red for political enemies and red for members of the Armed Forces to include enemy Prisoners of War or German deserters.
