CAMP RILEA, OREGON - Staff Sgt. William K. Sauder studies his map as he prepares to identify terrain features as part of his Warrior Training Task during the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne)'s Best Warrior Competition held here from 5 through 10 May. Sauder competed against 10 other Soldiers and Non-commissioned officers from across the nation to take home this year's Best Warrior of the Year NCO category. This eight year combat veteran is a member of Bravo Company, 412thCivil Affairs Battalion, out of Columbus Ohio. He holds a psychology degree from Ohio State University and says he joined the Army to "lead and train Soldiers as they work to make a difference in the world."
