U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program lugers Sgt. Preston Griffall, 29, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Sgt. Matt Mortensen, 28, of Huntington Station, N.Y., flank WCAP and U.S. Olympic Luge coach Staff Sgt. Bill Tavares after receiving their Team USA jackets Dec. 14 at Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah. They will represent the U.S. Army at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, scheduled for Feb. 6-24 in Sochi, Russia. Mortensen and Griffall secured their spot with a ninth-place finish in the World Cup Luge doubles event Dec. 13 at Utah Olympic Park. On Dec. 14, they anchored Team USA's silver medal winning relay team.
