An Indianapolis-Carmel, Ind., Pfc. Ryan Brown, of CH-47 Chinook helicopter repairer, assigned to Company D, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment volunteers to receive his first nasopharyngeal airway tube during combat lifesaver training on Nov. 20 in the 3-2 GSAB conference room. Pfc. Vincent Majid, of Garden Grove, Ca., healthcare specialist, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment explained how the NPA tube is meant to open airways of casualties that having difficulty breathing.
