MEADE, Md.-Members of the U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group conduct training on a variety of techniques that can be used to safely secure and hoist a casualty up and down an obstacle during a subterranean training event held Oct. 1 here. Each week, the AWG's Able Squadron conducts a complex training event that creatively utilizes home station facilities and equipment to get at the subterranean problem set. These training events assess, develop and validate various tactics, techniques and procedures regarding subterranean operations, while building adaptability and resiliency within Soldiers.
