Botswana Defense Forces visits North Carolina

Kagiso Kgaswanyane, assistant chief of staff personnel from the Botswana Defense Force (right), about different aspects and criteria the National Guard use for recruiting candidates for military service at NCNG Joint Force Headquarters in Raleigh, N.C. Mapitse and Kgaswanyane visited North Carolina as part of Botswana's State Partnership Program with the state. The two BDF leaders participated in a benchmark exercise to review methods, of induction, appointment and deployment of chaplains, by using the National Guard as an example to restructure their chaplaincy in the Republic of Botswana.
