Heroic efforts of Fort Carson MedEvac company save lives in Colorado floods

Staff Sgt. Jose Pantoja, medic, hoists an evacuee to safety as part of Colorado flood evacuation operations. Army Medicine MedEvac crews from 2nd Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment, (2-4 General Support Aviation Battalion), stationed out of Fort Carson, Colo., rescued/evacuated 1028 civilians and flew more than 150 total flight hours over five days of operations.
