Jose Roman, a mortuary affairs specialist from 311th Quartermaster Company, 1st Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve, headquartered out of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, creates a life-like wound to be applied to a mannequin Aug. 1 during the Vibrant Response 13-2 exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center. The 311th Quartermaster Co.'s role in the exercise is to enhance the training of the individual by creating and producing precise and detailed patient casualty scenarios with medical knowledge and trained artistic abilities.
