MUSCATATUCK URBAN TRAINING CENTER, Ind. " Life-sized mannequins wait their turn Aug. 1 after being prepared by mortuary affairs specialists from the 311th Quartermaster Company, 1st Mission Support Command, at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center during the Vibrant Response 13-2 exercise. VR13-2 is a major field training exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by Army North. The 311th Quartermaster Co. is an Army Reserve unit from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Applying moulage dressing to the mannequin helps demonstrate the different types of injuries first responders may treat during a disaster and assists them in applying the correct type of treatment for those injuries.
