New York Army National Guard sergeant recognized for courage under fire

New York Army National Guard Sgt. The two are residents of Fairport, N.Y. Young was recognized for saving the life of a fellow Soldier while under continuous enemy fire, March 16, 2012, while he was serving in Afghanistan with an EOD battalion from Fort Drum, N.Y. He is currently assigned to the 1018th Ordnance Company (EOD).
