Denim Day at the Fort Meade parade field was April 24, 2013. Soldiers wore denim to work then walked a mile around the parade field to display solidarity with the victims of sexual harassment and assault. The event was called "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes." This shows the teal ribbon that was wrapped around everyone showing that we all stand together. Teal is the official color of sexual assault awareness.
