New leader assumes command of future-ready Army Proving Ground

The U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground Commander Col. Ronald Jacobs Jr., receives a ceremonial staff and field officer sword from retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 Rodney Preuss, commander, B Troop, 4th U.S. Cavalry Regiment (Memorial) during Jacobs' change of command to incoming Commander Col. Raymond K. Compton July 9. The presentation sword represents the admiration of Jacobs' leadership. Headquartered at Fort Huachuca, USAEPG's mission is to plan, conduct, analyze, evaluate and report the results of developmental and operational tests and evaluations in support of Network, Electronic Warfare and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems customers.
