An Afghan National Army soldier with the 4th Infantry Brigade, 203rd Corps, searches for unexploded ordnance, known as UXO, after he received a signal using an UXO detection device, during a training course in eastern Afghanistan, June 25, 2013. U.S. Army explosive ordnance disposal, or OED, specialists with 731st EOD Company out of Fort Stewart, Ga., assisted and advised members of Afghan National Security Forces with improvised explosive device detection and disposal techniques during a three-week course before the ANSF members attended an Afghan EOD course.
