Tusisaleia Pomele (left) conducts an after-action review with Indonesian Army Cadets Miko Yudi (middle) and Daniel Alexander Hammi (right) after a simulated combat medical exercise in Bogor, Indonesia on June 14. Pomele and other members of the Hawaii-based 1984th U.S. Army Reserve Hospital conducted about a week of medical first-responder training and then tested the Indonesian troops in the exercise. The Indonesian Soldiers, mostly medics and nurses from the 1st Medic Battalion, are expected to assume the role of trainers and teach what they learned to other Indonesian troops.
