Lt. Gen. Thomas P. Bostick, the chief of engineers and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers commanding general, gets a tour of Building 3317 on Kelley Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, from Akemi Herrick, a Europe District project engineer, on May 14. The project calls for converting an old office area into a new joint operations center for Africa Command. The $7.2 million renovation is AFRICOM's top priority at the moment, Herrick said. The Stuttgart Resident Office has targeted next April for completion.
