Army leaders outline fiscal challenges and importance of U.S. Army Europe

Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal (far right) and Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. John F. The shopping center complex and housing area are scheduled to open in the fall of 2014. Westphal and Campbell visited to outline current Army priorities and enhance their situational awareness of key USAREUR initiatives and programs. Prior to their visit to Wiesbaden, Westphal and Campbell visited U.S. Army commands in Italy and Afghanistan. The pair said that they will take the lessons they learned from each visit with them back to Washington to better prioritize Army resources and support mission requirements.
