Army Reserve celebrates 105 years

The Bagram Batman, Bagram Air Field's caped crusader for public safety, high-fives a runner during a 5k run celebrating the Army Reserve's 105th birthday April 25, 2013. More than 500 runners gathered for the early morning run. The Reserve, which was founded April 23, 1908, as a reserve corps of medical personnel, now includes 148 different military occupation specialties and accounts for 20 percent of the Army's total force.
