Missouri National Guard responds to Mississippi flooding in Clarksville

Clarksville City Councilman Randy Snell briefs Missouri National Guardsmen on the progress of a 1,000 foot sandbag levee protecting the town from flood waters of the Mississippi River. The Guardsmen (from left) are Air Guard Capt. Mitch Boatright, Army Guard 1st Sgt. Charlie Hinde, and Air Guard Lt. Col. Lane Endicott. The Missouri National Guard was called to state emergency duty Friday in response to the flooding.
