In 2012, 472 ninety-six gallon recycle containers were purchased and a recycle pilot for single stream was conducted in two Family Housing communities. The pilot was successful and recycling efforts doubled. As a result additional recycle containers have been purchased and will be distributed to all 6,430 homes in Family Housing in support of Net Zero Waste 2020.
