Fort Irwin Celebrates the Army's Birthday

The National Training Center and Fort Irwin, Calif., celebrated the U.S. Army's 233rd birthday June 12 with a post-wide fun run and a cake-cutting ceremony. Army Family members from the post's Child Development Center joined Brig. Gen. Dana J.H. Pittard, commanding general, NTC and Fort Irwin, and Command Sgt. Maj. Robert A. Moore, NTC and Fort Irwin command sergeant major, in the cake-cutting ceremony.
