Decorated World War II Army officer returns to Okinawa

Col. Sheila Bryant, commander, 10th Regional Support Group, hosts a retreat ceremony for Retired Col. Ted Bell, March 7, 2013, on U.S. Army Garrison Torii Station, Japan. A pantheon of distinguished visitors turned out to honor Bell for his 30 years of service, for which Bell was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions during the Battle of Okinawa on Ishimmi Ridge during World War II.
