FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Actor and musician Gary Sinise admires a potato basket made by wounded warriors, staff and family members as part of a therapy project March 7 at the Warrior and Family Support Center. Lt. Dan, as the "Forrest Gump" actor is also known, was in town with the Lt. Dan Band for a concert at the Brooke Army Medical Center. Sinise made an unscheduled visit to the WFSC to meet with wounded warriors and staff members. "I can never do enough for our wounded warriors and the men and women serving our country," he said. "This is a beautiful facility."
