FORSCOM, USARC prepare new Lean Six Sigma Black Belts

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (March 4, 2013) " Steve Wilkins, U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), G-8, Business Readiness Improvement Division, uses the results from the first practical exercise on the first day of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training to determine the 'process sigma' from training event. This number is used as a statistical indicator how well business process is producing the desired results. The course is sponsored and taught by the FORSCOM, G-8, Business Readiness Improvement Division and the U.S. Army Reserve Command, G-8, Continuous Process Improvement Office and includes 14 students from within the commands and U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
