Strengthening the Army-to-Army partnership between the U.S. and Chile

Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal meets with Lt. Gen. Lt. Gen. Hernan Mardones visited with Army senior leaders to discuss Army-to-Army cooperation efforts, build cooperation and foster closer relationships between the two militaries. Additionally, Lt. Gen. Hernan Mardones participated in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery, during his visit to Washington D.C.
