Utah Guard linguists contribute unique skills during African exercises

Staff Sgt. Novak is among more than 150 U.S. service members working with nearly 600 Cameroon and Central African partner militaries to enhance aerial resupply, patient treatment and medical readiness procedures. An annual U.S. Army Africa exercise, Central Accord 2013 began Feb. 20 and will conclude by March 1 following a three-day field training exercise that will implement lessons learned.
