1st Lt. Nargis Kabiri, platoon leader, 1st Battalion, 321st Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, trains with her platoon, Feb. 13, 2013 Fort Bragg, N.C. Kabiri, a native of Pipestone, MN, was one of two female Field Artillery officers in the 82nd Airborne Division's 18th Fires Brigade to be assigned as platoon leaders for the battalion's Battery B. The bde. is the first Field Artillery unit in the Army to integrate female officers into its cannon units.
