In teams of two, cadets from the Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy ran through the 82nd Airborne Division's Pre-Ranger obstacle course on Jan. 24. Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy has given high school dropouts the opportunity to get on the right track and earn a GED. The program, sponsored by the N.C. National Guard, teaches teens about responsibility and discipline.
