Army Corps Barging Operations in NYC

Debris collected from the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is offloaded from barges to trucks for transport to area landfills, Nov. 23, 2012, at the Port of Coeymans, near Albany, N.Y. Since barging operations began Nov. 10, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reduced huge debris piles at temporary collection sites which the New York City set up in public parks on Staten Island and in Queens following Sandy.
