Members of the Tigua Indian Tribe perform a buffalo dance at the Tigua Indian Cultural Center, El Paso, Texas, Oct. 13, 2012, as part of a weekly demonstration designed to share the tribe's culture as well as preserve that culture for future generations. The buffalo dance was performed prior to a buffalo hunt in order to ensure a successful hunt. The female dancers represent buffalo maidens and the male dancers represent the buffalo.
