30K Run Army Ten-Miler in DC

Tesfaye Senedeku-ale from Ethiopia is the first man to cross the finish line at the U.S. Army Military District of Washington's Army Ten-Miler Race, beating his winning time from last year by three seconds, coming in at 47:48. The first woman was Kerri A. Gallagher, from Washington, D.C. at 56:09. The Army's premier running event is the third largest 10-mile race in the world and all race proceeds benefit Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation which supports Soldier and Soldier family programs.
