FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - Spc. Michael Crawford, along with Maj. Gen. Adolph McQueen Jr., deputy commanding general for support, U.S. Army North, show off the "9-point" Sika Deer that Crawford bagged Oct. 11 as part of a hunting trip for Wounded Warriors at a private central Texas game ranch. The Sika is a large, shaggy deer from eastern Asia. "The atmosphere makes it fun," said Crawford, a 21-year-old military policeman who is confined to a wheel chair after an IED blast in Afghanistan. Crawford, a native of Vancouver, Wash., said he plans to eat the deer meat for Christmas dinner.
