Staff Sgt. Kenneth Anderson, a platoon sergeant with the 513th Transportation Company, jumps over a rail and back dozens of times Sept. 13 during a five-day course by the Comprehensive Soldier Fitness-Performance and Resilience Enhancement Program on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., that seeks to enhance leaders through mental skill sets. The course, which CSF-PREP tried out for the first time this month, included an obstacle course that twice tested the physical, mental and emotional resolve of 14 sergeants and officers at the start and end of their five days.
