Maj. Gen. Dyson's husband, retired Air Force Col. Jim Chamberlain, and family members pin a second star on her beret during her promotion ceremony at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery, Va. Dyson has been selected to be the director for Army Budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management & Comptroller). She is the first female Army Finance Corps officer to achieve the rank of major general.
