In recognition of their service to the Transportation Corps, Brig. Gen. Stephen E. Farmen, chief of transportation and commandant of the Transportation School, and Command Sgt. Maj. Allen B. Offord, regimental command sergeant major of the Transportation School, present the Order of Saint Christopher medal Aug. 17, 2012, to veterans James Lyles and Larry Fiandt along with Kathy Blackstone, coordinator for "The Gathering," at Fort Lee, Va. Saint Christopher is the patron saint of the Transportation Corps.
