Soldiers from the 8th Theater Sustainment Command walk, ruck, and run their way across Ford Island and up the Ford Island bridge during the Trilper Fisher House organized "Boots on the Bridge" 8-kilometer run. This run is a memorial to those service members lost their lives serving our country. More than 6,000 boots were placed across Ford Island and Ford Island Bridge in Hawaii. Atop each boot sat a photo of the service member being honored that day.
