U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond T. Ordierno presents U.S. Army Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, former Commanding General, Army Material Command, with a flag in honor of her 38 years of service, Aug. 15, at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va. Dunwoody became the Army's highest-ranking female after receiving her third star in 2005. In 2008, Dunwoody became the first woman in U.S. military history to achieve a fourth star.
