'Wolverine' medics train Afghan counterparts to perform proper life-saving skills

The exercise was part of a "train-the-trainer" Combat Life Saver course. Shinafelt, a Florida native, was the primary instructor for the course, which was led by the medics of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.
