The Third Infantry Division conducted a vehicle dedication ceremony July 24, 2012, at Fort Stewart, Ga., commemorating the Army's last M4 Command and Control Vehicle, which allowed the Marne Division to maintain constant command and control during its spearhead into Iraq in 2003. Joining the Third Infantry Division Commander, Maj. Gen. Robert "Abe" Abrams and Third Infantry Division Command Sergeant Major for the unveiling was Vice Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, who with his crew of Col. Ross Coffman, Col. Robert Foster, Mike Culpepper, Heath Bates, Sgt. 1st Class Earl Francis, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Robert Streeper, Sgt. Maj. Jerry Kimble, and Sgt. 1st Class Robert Brown, operated "Maximus" during the 2003 push into Iraq.
