Chirlee finished 15th with a time of 28 minutes, 17.84 seconds. Nike's Galen Rupp won the race in a meet record 27:25.33 and was followed by teammates Matt Tegenkamp (27:33.94) and Dathan Ritzenhein (27:36.09). Rupp broke the meet mark of 27:36.49 set by Meb Keflezighi on July 9, 2004.
