Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal thanks Chilean Artillerymen for their service during a visit to the Chilean VI Army Division headquarters in Arica, Chile, June 11, 2012. Westphal participated in the 12th U.S. and Chile Defense Consultative Commission and visited with select Chilean Army units to expand partnership capacity. The U.S. and Chilean defense partnership is focused on a range of initiatives, from disaster response to conducting joint exercises and training.
