Cake cutting

Army and community leaders, along with the oldest and youngest Soldiers in the formation, cut the Army birthday cake June 14, 2012, in front of the Alamo in San Antonio. William Caldwell IV, commanding general, U.S. Army North, and senior commander, Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, cut the cake for the Army's 237th birthday celebration in San Antonio. More than 1,500 Soldiers and civilians ran from Fort Sam Houston to the Alamo where they took part in a flag raising and a cake-cutting ceremony as part of the Army's 237th birthday celebration.
