Dressed in the uniform of a World War II paratrooper, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Foundas stands at the door of a mock aircraft. Foundas is a living interpreter of World War II military history and recently made parachute jumps commemorating the 1944 Allied Invasion of Normandy. He is a member the Liberty Jump team headquartered in Denison, Texas that routinely make parachute jumps reenacting World War II airborne operations.
