Marines render a snappy salute as colors are presented during a ceremony May 18 celebrating more than 60 years of the Marine Corps Artillery Detachment's presence at Fort Sill. The Marine Corps has partnered with the Army Artillery School since the 1950s to train artillerymen to meet the challenges of joint fires missions. More than 2,000 Marines receive artillery training here each year.
