36 African land force chiefs meet to discuss security

ALFS was created by the U.S. Army in an effort to build understanding, interpersonal relationships and leadership by bringing together senior leaders from Africa. The summit provides a unique opportunity for the U.S. and Africa to solidify relationships, exchange information on current topics of mutual interests and seek to encourage cooperation in addressing challenges.
