Several dozen of the Army's "newest" Abrams tanks wait to be offloaded from flatbed train cars March 28, 2012, at the railhead at Fort Riley, Kan. The M1A2 SEP V2 tanks arrived at Fort Riley March 27, and were delivered to the Soldiers with the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, April 2. The new tanks are "refurbished zero-mile/zero-hour tanks" that contain system enhancements, including a new cooling system and fully digital operations.
